Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled Oats Old-fashioned oats work best.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Ground cinnamon.
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 cups Milk Can use almond or oat milk for a dairy-free option.
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup Or honey.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 large Egg Beaten.
Fruits
  • 2 cups Apples Peeled, cored, and diced.
Toppings
  • ¼ cup Nuts Chopped walnuts or pecans.
  • ¼ cup Raisins Optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and beaten egg.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
Baking
  1. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  2. Sprinkle chopped nuts and raisins on top if using.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  4. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
