  • 4 medium ripe tomatoes diced
  • 1 medium red onion finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 medium jalapeño pepper seeded and minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lime juice freshly squeezed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, cilantro, minced jalapeño, and minced garlic.
  2. Add the lime juice, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Let the salsa sit for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
