Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 4 cups sliced peaches fresh or canned
  • 1 cup sugar adjust based on sweetness of peaches
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Batter
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon sugar for batter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well and set aside.
Make the Batter
  1. In another bowl, mix Bisquick, milk, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish.
  2. Pour the batter evenly over the peaches.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Serve
  1. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with ice cream.
