Ingredients
  

Base
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Filling
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Topping
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Make the Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, mix blueberries, lemon juice, sugar, and cornstarch until combined.
  2. Spread the blueberry mixture evenly over the base.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In another bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon. Mix until crumbly.
  2. Sprinkle the topping over the blueberry filling.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
