Ingredients
  

Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for serving
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter cut into pieces
Pasta
  • 12 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In the crockpot, combine heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Add the butter pieces on top of the mixture.
Cook
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
Cook the Pasta
  1. About 15 minutes before serving, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta and add it to the crockpot, stirring to combine with the sauce.
Serve
  1. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
