Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite brand or homemade
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional
  • 4 buns burger buns for serving
  • ½ cup coleslaw for topping

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
Add Sauce and Seasonings
  1. Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken.
  2. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper over the top.
Cook
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Shred the Chicken
  1. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks.
  2. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to combine with the sauce.
Serve
  1. Serve the pulled chicken on buns, topped with coleslaw if desired.
