Ingredients
  

Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 lb ground beef preferably lean
  • 3 cups potatoes diced
  • 2 cups carrots sliced
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
Cooking
  1. Transfer the browned beef mixture to the crockpot.
  2. Add diced potatoes, sliced carrots, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy your hearty stew.
