- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk with yeast and let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes). In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter and eggs into the yeast mixture once frothy. Gradually stir in the flour mixture until dough forms. Knead until smooth (about 6 minutes) and place in a greased bowl covered with plastic wrap.
- Allow the dough to rise in a warm area until doubled in size (approximately 1 hour).
- Punch down the risen dough and roll it into a rectangle (about an inch thick). Spread softened butter over the surface and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
- Roll up the rectangle from one long side into a log shape, pinch seams closed, and form into a circle. Hide a small plastic baby inside if desired.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place shaped cake on parchment-lined baking sheet; let rise again for about 30 minutes before baking for approximately 35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar mixed with water/milk.
