Preparation
  1. Prepare strawberries by tossing them with 2 tablespoons of sugar; let them macerate for 30 minutes.

Biscuit Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until smooth.
  2. Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in heavy cream until just combined.
  4. Turn dough onto a floured surface; pat into a rectangle about an inch thick and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
Baking
