Method
 

Baking the Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans and line them with parchment paper.

  3. In another bowl, beat eggs with milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually mix into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for ten minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Making the Frosting
  1. For the frosting, whip softened butter with cocoa until fluffy.
