Chili Preparation
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat and let it cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serving
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Transfer the chili to a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips on the side.
