Ingredients
  

Oatmeal Base
  • 2 cups Rolled Oats Use gluten-free oats if needed.
  • 4 cups Water or Milk Use almond milk for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 pinch Salt
Blueberry Topping
  • 2 cups Fresh Blueberries Can substitute with frozen blueberries.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Optional for added flavor.
Optional Toppings
  • ¼ cup Chopped Nuts Almonds or walnuts work well.
  • ¼ cup Greek Yogurt For added creaminess and protein.

Method
 

Prepare the Oatmeal
  1. In a saucepan, combine rolled oats, water or milk, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and creamy.
Add Blueberries
  1. Stir in the fresh blueberries, honey or maple syrup, and cinnamon. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the blueberries are heated through.
Serve
  1. Divide the oatmeal into bowls and top with optional chopped nuts and Greek yogurt if desired.
