  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
  • 1 each egg beaten, for egg wash
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about an eighth of an inch thick.
  4. Cut rectangles (3×5 inches) from the dough and spread filling on half of each rectangle.
  5. Fold over the other half and seal edges well. Brush with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before frosting with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
