  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the sifted matcha green tea powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled.
Churning
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  2. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
