  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

  • Pepper to taste

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a casserole dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce, herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Layer half the meat mixture in the casserole dish followed by half the lasagna noodles. Add dollops of ricotta cheese and half the mozzarella. Repeat layers.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle Parmesan on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Let sit for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
