Ingredients
  

Espresso Base
  • 4 shots espresso or strong brewed coffee
Milk
  • 4 cups milk whole, skim, or non-dairy
Vanilla Syrup
  • ½ cup vanilla syrup store-bought or homemade
Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon whipped cream optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for extra flavor

Method
 

Prepare Espresso
  1. Brew 4 shots of espresso using an espresso machine.
Heat Milk
  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling.
Froth Milk
  1. Use a milk frother to froth the heated milk until it is light and airy.
Combine Ingredients
  1. In a large cup, combine the espresso and vanilla syrup. Stir well.
  2. Pour the frothed milk over the espresso mixture.
  3. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of vanilla extract if desired.
