  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  2. Place the steak in a plastic bag or container and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the steak is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the container and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

Notes
