Taco Pie with Crescent Rolls

A delicious and easy-to-make taco pie using crescent roll dough, filled with seasoned ground beef, cheese, and topped with your favorite taco toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup sour cream for topping
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce for topping
  • 1 medium tomato diced, for topping
  • ½ cup sliced black olives for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water as per packet instructions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom and up the sides of a baking dish to form a crust.
Assembly
  1. Spread the seasoned beef mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
  2. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the beef.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serving
  1. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  2. Top with sour cream, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and black olives before serving.
