Ingredients
  

Taco Shells
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup water adjust as needed

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the vegetable oil and mix until crumbly.
  2. Gradually add water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for a few minutes until smooth.
Shape the Shells
  1. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
  2. Use a cookie cutter to cut out desired shapes, if desired.
Bake the Shells
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
Cool and Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with your favorite fillings.
