Preparation and Baking
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat dry chicken wings with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, hot sauce, honey, and soy sauce.
- Toss half of the marinade with the wings until evenly coated; reserve the remaining marinade for basting.
- Arrange wings skin-side up on the rack and bake for 40-45 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Brush reserved marinade over wings during the last five minutes of baking. Let them rest before serving.
